For over 15 years Right Choice Ed. has helped students succeed on the Grade 12 English Provincial Exams. Our specialty is to teach students how to maximize their marks and write dynamic essays for these important tests. The seminar covers all parts of the exam including: Poetry, Prose, Reading Comprehension, and Original Composition. Students will learn to fine tune their answers, employing the tools of T1,T2 & T3, buzz words and other exam secrets. They will learn to accurately time themselves (a common problem for most students), self assess and bring impact to their communications. Each student will be marked carefully, and a critical analysis of their shortcomings will be addressed. If you never take another program or tutoring session - this seminar is the Right Choice.

Learn how to become a professional tutor. Essential learning techniques, curriculum planning, classroom management and a variety of tips to engage ESL learners. This class is wonderful for anyone who wishes to advance thier career in teaching locally or overseas. It takes the TESL and other training principals and puts the skills into practise. (This is not a TESL program and is in no way affiliated with TESL). Students need not have taken the TESL program to take this program.
Participants learn how to get the most out of their teaching time and learn the concepts of working with individual students or in a classroom environment. You don't have to become a tutor to benefit from this program. Tutor Training is for persons in all careers because it develops confidence. Space is Limited.

Hmmm......Right, Eng 12 Provincial Exam.
Funny thing is the exam is not designed to test how eloquently you can deliver your thoughts. Sadly, it isn't even about how much you love poetry, or short short stories or Margaret Atwood (she is a blasted writer, I don't care what others say). At the end of the day what mattered in the exam, at least from my own experience, was identifying what the markers looked for, pinpointing the elements in the model answer and spluttering out buzz words which would compel whoever is marking the thing to give you a decent check mark.
Cathy's seminars are useful simply because they help to achieve the aforementioned points.
Trust me, doing well on the Provincial is much easier when you know the tricks.
